Dot NAME Domain Names

Introduced in 2001, the .NAME top-level domain extension is the sole TLD planned for personal websites only. These domain names can include personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other titles people are famous by. At first, only third-level registrations were possible, so if you wanted to order john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also allowed. Already bought third-level domain names remained active.

Through our firm, you can obtain your .NAME domain for an interval between 1 and 10 years. You will have the opportunity to correct the WHOIS details, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an already registered domain to our company if you receive its EPP transfer authorization code from the present registrar company and we will renew it after the transfer has been done. There are no specific rules on who can obtain a .NAME domain name, but in order to preserve the idea behind its creation alive, the dot NAME Registry may verify who the Registrant is and if there is no connection between the owner and the actual domain, the registration may be challenged.

The .NAME generic top-level domain name extension is among the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no additional cost.
