In case you only have a domain with tortillero, but you also desire to migrate your website(s) to our platform, you can just switch to one of our cloud hosting plans. Just go to the Upgrade Plan section of the Domain Control Panel and select the package that you desire to switch to. We’ll then activate each one of the available hosting features for you and you will be able to take full advantage of all the site setup and administration tools that are part of the Control Panel.

All our web hosting plans offer a drag ’n’ drop File Manager, webmail access, the option to create multiple MySQL databases and to examine exhaustive website traffic statistics, and much more, so all you’ll have to take into consideration is the amount of resources that you need for your sites.

We give you full authority over your domain names’ DNS resource records. Through the Custom DNS section of the Domain Manager, you can edit different DNS resource records for a selected domain. These include A, AAAA, MX, NS, SRV, CNAME and TXT records. To add a new resource record, simply pick a domain name and fill in the desired value in the respective record field. To modify the DNS record – click ’Modify’; to restore the previous value – click ’Revert’.

Through the GeoIP location tool, also available in the Custom DNS section, you will be able to show a specific language version of your site to visitors from a certain geographic location.

With the Registrar Lock feature enabled, you can rest assured that your domain is protected from online theft. Anybody who attempts an unsolicited domain transfer will be instantly stopped and the domain name transfer request – turned down.

In case, at some point, you choose to transfer your domain name to another registrar, you will be able to unlock it with a mere click. You will find the domain locking/unlocking functionality in the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel.

In our Domain Manager you will find an easy–to–work–with tool, which will enable you to filter out your web site traffic according to the visitors’ physical whereabouts. With our GeoIP redirection tool, you will be able to quickly set up location–based redirects and forward people to specific areas of your site. For instance, you can redirect the US traffic to your main page, and the traffic coming from Spain to a subdomain – es.your–website.com, for example.

With this easy–to–use tool, you’ll no longer have to write dozens of lines of code in your .htaccess file. Everything is handled by the tool itself.

With the Wildcard DNS functionality, you can make all your sub–domains point to the index page of your site. For example, if someone types in any.domain.com or smth.domain.com, they will be redirected to http://domain.com/.

You might need the Wildcard DNS feature for a multisite web app such as Joomla^™ Multi–Site or WordPress.

To add a wildcard domain, go to the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel and hit the Add Host button on the right. At the bottom of the options list, you’ll notice the Wildcard Domain tickbox.
